Greenwood trail system

I think the new trail system for Greenwood is one of the greatest improvements our city has ever had!    What a great way to encourage a healthier lifestyle!  Check out the attached brochure, which includes a map of the trails, and then grab the kids and the rollerblades or bikes, and hit the pavement!

Affordable places to shop for home decor on Indy's Southside

1. Pier 1- I love Pier 1.  It's more expensive than most on the list, but better quality.  You can find unique items there.
6810 S. Emerson (I65 & Southport Rd)

2. Garden Ridge-very good prices, not great quality, but they look good!  Big selection.
US 31, North of Stop 11

3.  TJ Maxx-small selection, but you can get lucky and find great bargains!
US 31, north of County Line Road

4.  Tuesday Morning-I never have very good luck here, but my friends love it!
Same strip as Stein Mart, on State Rd 135 just south of County Line Rd.

5.  Hobby Lobby-my #2 FAV!  Good selection and have good sales.
8040 S. East St (just south of Stop 11 on US 31)

6.  Old Time Pottery--my #1 FAV!  Great selection and very good prices.
US 31, just North of County Line Road

7. Kirkland's--I love Kirklands, but my only complaint is that so do so many people!  I don't like having the same decor items as others!  For some reason, I feel like I can pick out items in people's homes that are from Kirklands.  I usually like them though!
US 31 just North of County  Line Road

8.  Stein Mart-smaller selection, but have found some things I love there!
State Road 135, just South of County Line Road

What are others that should be added to this list?

Dinner time? Eat fresh....at Stir Crazy!

The fam and I went to Stir Crazy tonight. It's located just outside of Greenwood Park Mall. We enjoy picking out all of our own fresh vegetables, and handing to the cook who mixes our veggies with beef, chicken, or shrimp, and noodles or rice. It's very good, hot, and a good value. You are welcome to go back up as many times as you please! The best value is at lunch time....it's only about $9 a person. Dinner time is around $13 a person. If you don't trust yourself to pick the ingredients of your own meal, there is also a full menu in which to order. Stir Crazy has a full bar as well.
Check it out....the atmosphere is appropriate for families, girls night out, date night, guys night...Any time! Then, you can walk a few steps to the mall and shop and work off that big meal!
